The journey (By Bus) : Istanbul -> Cappadocia -> Istanbul

Tour Details

Please make your own way to our Istanbul office by 18:30, from where you will catch the shuttle transfer to the bus station. From there you will board the 20:30 overnight bus to Cappadocia. The journey from Istanbul to Cappadocia takes approximately 10 hours.

Arrival time at the main bus station of Nevşehir (in Cappadocia) is around 07:30. You will then board the free shuttle buses to Göreme, where upon arrival our guide will be waiting to assist your transfer to our main office in Göreme. You can leave your luggage safely in our office for the day as at 09.30 you will join our small group tour of Northern Cappadocia (minibus, max. 16 persons). We will visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, the old city of Avanos, the Red River, followed by a warm welcome at a Boutique Cave Hotel – which will be your accommodation for the night. You will also have the opportunity to discover the town and local restaurants during the day.

Don’t forget that while in Cappadocia, you will have the opportunity to take an unforgettable Hot-Air Balloon tour. You will have to make a very early start, but it could be one of the most memorable parts of your holiday in Turkey.

Following your complimentary breakfast and check-out from the hotel, your guide will be waiting for you, ready for the 09:30 departure of our Travel in Turkey Full-Day tour of Southern Cappadocia. Please remember to take your bags and personal belongings with you on the bus. The tour includes an exploration of the fascinating underground city of Derinkuyu, and a walk through the Rose Valley to enjoy the captivating Cappadocian landscape. The tour will end at around 18.30, and after a break for dinner, we will transfer you from our Göreme main office to the Nevşehir bus terminal to catch the 20.30 overnight bus to Istanbul (journey time: approx.10 hours).

The bus will arrive into Istanbul’s main bus terminal at approximately 07.30. This is the end of our Travel in Turkey Tour. You will be able to connect to Istanbul’s Metro system or take a taxi to the centre

Notes on bus travel in Turkey;

Travelling by bus is an affordable but comfortable option in Turkey. All buses are fully air-conditioned and include on-board entertainment and WIFI. Water, coffee, tea, cools drinks and complimentary snacks are provided at regular intervals. Buses stop on average every three hours at roadhouses for meal and toilet breaks. Roadhouses also sell snacks, small goods and other general items. Breaks will be between 15-30 minutes. Please note buses depart promptly. Toilets cost 3TL.

If you would like to book one of our tours, please complete the following steps...

guests etc.)

2. Add to the cart and proceed with the payment of the deposit.

Please note: If you do not want to use a credit card to make your deposit payment, but would prefer to make a bank transfer, please contact us for further details.

3. Within a few hours, our team will contact you via e-mail with an application

form and a proforma invoice with the final cost of the tour.

4. Please reply to this e-mail with your completed application form, and attached copies or photos of the passports of yourself and other participants.

5. We will send you a confirmation of your booking, with full details of your tour.

HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT?

While making the initial reservation, please pay 30% of the total amount

as a deposit to secure your booking (steps 1 and 2). The remaining 70% should be paid, in cash or by credit card, upon arrival in Turkey.
