Topkapı Palace: Topkapı Palace was the home of sultans and the administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire for about 400 years. Topkapı Palace promises a lot to its visitors with its vast imperial collections which show their opulent lifestyles. In 1985 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is recognised as the finest surviving example of an Ottoman empire palace.
Little Hagia Sophia: Known as the oldest surviving Byzantine monument, it was built by Byzantine emperor Justinian and his wife, Theodora. This monument was built as an early model for St. Sophia and now operates as a mosque.
